Use embroidery stitches to bring your fabric art to life. Learn and practice 10-12 embroidery stitches, variations, and combinations. Stitches taught include straight/seed, stem, backstitch, chain, french knot, blanket, feather, fly, and more. Examine 'fancy' threads for embroidery, including 6-strand floss, Perle cotton, yarn, ribbon, and trim.
Leave with a better understanding of types of hand-sewing needles and how to use them. Learn how to attach other items such as buttons, charms, beads, lace, or ribbon that you want to include on your quilt. View samples of fabric art embellished with hand stitching.
