About the event

The Atlanta Quilt Festival will feature over 100 quilts created predominantly by African American quilters. As a special treat, visitors will be able to view "Good Trouble Quilts - Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Congressman John Lewis." The quilts of the "Lives Taken, Lives Remembered" exhibit will also be on display. Quilts in the juried exhibit are featured in 4 categories: traditional quilts, art quilts, modern quilts and African American heritage quilts. Quilters compete for ribbons and cash prizes. Attendees will vote for their favorite quilt. The quilt with the most votes will be crowned Best of Show.
