The Atlanta Quilt Festival promotes African American quilting and quilting in general. It sponsors a monthlong celebration of African American quilting and dollmaking each August.

 

Activities include the juried exhibit, special exhibit, classes, vendors, trunk shows and receptions.

The Atlanta Quilt Festival also participates in the City of South Fulton, GA Juneteenth celebration by sponsoring a special exhibit of Freedom quilts.
