Supply List:
Supply list for hand quilting Class
A hoop or Q-snap frame- A good size would be a 12-14 “ hoop, or a 11”X14” Q-Snap.
A Project that you would like to hand quilt. This can be a small one, or a practice one. You should have a quilt sandwich prepared. Make it big enough to fit in the above sized hoop/frame. For batting, I like to use low loft polyester, as it is easier to quilt. Others like cotton or wool. So prepare your sandwich with whatever batting you prefer.
Thimble
Small scissors
Thread to go with your project. This can be hand quilting thread or size 50 cotton thread.
Quilting needles-the size you are comfortable using. I use #12, but you may want to start out with #9, or larger. Make sure the eye is large enough for you to thread.
A needle threader if desired.
A pencil or washable marker for marking a quilting pattern.

Continental breakfast and lunch are included in the class fee.
There will be time after class to view the exhibit.
