African American quilter Janice Daniel had Hawaii on her mind when she created her quilt "Aloha". A simple nine patch in bright Hawaiian fabrics form the center. The bright center is framed by solid black fabric. Janice custom quilted "Aloha" on her machine. It measures 12 inches.

The back of the quilt is a black fabric. A label on the back documents the quilt. This quilt is one-of-a-kind.

This art quilt was created and donated to the Atlanta Quilt Festival by Janice Daniel, an African American quilter, who lives in Atlanta, GA. Visit the Atlanta Quilt Festival each August to see more of her quilts.
