Quilter Sara Sullivan donated her mini bug jar quilt and shipped it all the way from Hampshire, England! The quilt features six different bug jars. Each bug jar features a different kind of insect. The jars are on a gray background that is framed by a butterfly border. Sara machine quilted her quilt in the ditch and finished her quilt with a black binding.
The fabric on the back is you guessed it —- a big green bug on a black background. Sara embroidered her name on the back.
This art quilt was created and donated to the Atlanta Quilt Festival by quilter Sara Sullivan who lives in Hampshire England. If we are lucky, Sara may showcase more of her work at a future Atlanta Quilt Festival which is held each August.
