31 days of amazing quilt activities
The Atlanta Quilt Festival will celebrate its 12th year in 2020. The heart of the festival is the juried quilt exhibit which is housed at South Fulton Arts Center for the entire month of August. Quilting activities include a Master Quilter Workshop, Beginning Quilting Class, Collage Class, and a Trunk Show. Activities kick off with an Opening Reception, Doll Exhibit and Quilt Market August 2, 2020 at South Fulton Arts Center.
Opening Reception August 2d
The Opening Reception will be held August 2, 2020 from noon to 4 p.m. at South Fulton Arts Center, 4645 Butner Road, College Park, GA 30349. Shop at the Quilt Market, view the juried exhibit, a special exhibit and the dolls of Elizabeth Smart. Don't miss the ribbon ceremony. Vote for Best of Show.

The date of the Beginning Quilting Class will be announced soon. The class will be offered at Hammonds House Museum 503 Peeples Street, Atlanta, GA 30311. The class will be taught by Nina Moore. $15 class fee includes kit. 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Sewing machine required. When was the last time you did something for the very first time?
